BERNHARD LEITNER
THE MAD SCIENTIST
The prodigal son of Horst Leitner, motocross legend, founder of ATK Motorcycles and AMP Research, Bernhard founded Leitner Designs in 2007 as a custom engineering and design house. In 2014 he invented and fabricated the first Active Cargo System out of a need for carrying all of his off-road & motocross gear while maintaining the full use of his truck bed. Since 2014 Leitner Designs has sold thousands of Active Cargo Systems and itās proprietary accessories to outdoor enthusiasts across the globe. MICHELLE McDONALD
THE TEAM MOM
Michelle has been with Leitner Designs since day one and is currently the COO, supervising nearly all day-to-day operations & logistics. Her knowledge of the industry has been paramount to the growth of Leitner Designs, and more times than not will pick up the phone when you call. When sheās not wrangling all the details of the operation, she can be found riding her horse or 4 wheeling in her 2020 Jeep Gladiator. She is affectionately known as our āTeam Momā at the plant, and consistently over-delivers on all her parental duties.
KEITH MUNEMITSU
THE SOCIALIZER
With more than two decades of sales & marketing experience in the Action Sports Industry Keith has been charged with shaping the new consumer facing image and brand messaging for Leitner Designs as VP of Marketing. The former surf bum turned trout bum is involved with everything from photography, videography, to key branding functions. When heās not behind the camera lens or in the graphics Batcave Keith can be found fly fishing, surfing, or his new found passion, archery hunting. Keith is the point of contact for all marketing, sponsorship requests & fine IPA consumption.
MIKE McDONALD
THE BIG MAC
Mike āBig Macā McDonald is known for his cat like prowess , agile as a trained ballerina, and gets the work of two people done without anyone ever hearing or seeing himā¦ a true logistical ninja. At first glance Big Mac looks like an intimidating, hardened special warfare operator, but in fact is a truly soft spoken teddy bear that you wouldnāt think twice about inviting over for a family dinner. This former repo man turned truck bed rackologist has been an awesome addition to the team with his upbeat attitude & work ethic. Outside of work Big Mac enjoys needlepoint and building high-end custom firearms. The next time you receive a Leitner product you can rest assured that it didnāt leave the door without the Big Mac QC stamp of approval on it.
MADISON PERRY
THE DELEGATOR
Maddie is our resident product expert who handles all of Customer Relations from dealer to end user. Her peppy personality keeps the high stress work environment in check and running smoothly. Outside of work Maddie is a full time student at University of Arizona Global Campus where she is currently working towards her BA in Early Childhood Education. The Corona, CA native loves the warm summer sun in Lake Havasu and travels to the Bahamas at least once a year. In her free time Maddie can be often found in the great outdoors with her white lab "Captain". The next time you email or call Leitner Designs youāll probably get a warm greeting and a lot of help from our product guru Maddie.
CAROL ANNE HARVES
THE FINANCIAL CHEERLEADER
Carol Anne brings over 35 years of experience in the financial operations world to help the company stay on a solid financial base. She provides financial counsel in the areas of planning, budgeting, taxes, governmental requirements and all of the other fun stuff most business owners just love to do (not). When sheās not counting the coins of the business you may find her spending time with her buddy Olive, cheering on the Angels Baseball Team, or keeping tabs on her 7 grandchildren. Like any great cheerleader, no or never are words not found in her vocabulary.
JORDAN SANCHEZ
THE GUIDO
Jordan Sanchez or "The Guido" as most call him is Big Macās right-hand man. Working alongside Mac, Jordan handles all quality control and product packaging. He ensures that all products meet the company's standards and are packaged properly before they are shipped out to customers. Jordan's attention to detail and commitment to quality make him an invaluable member of the team. Outside of the warehouse, you can often find the Guido off-roading in his Tacoma or at the river with his buddies. His passion for adventure and exploration is reflected in his work, as he consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that every task is completed with precision and excellence.
NICK JAYNES
THE ANCHOR MAN
Native Oregonian Nick Jaynes spent seven years as an automotive journalist, on staff with Digital Trends then Mashable, before jumping over to PR. For several years Nick managed all communications for the Chevrolet car line at General Motors in Detroit before moving back home to Oregon and founding Diff Comms in 2018. Nick has been overlanding and off-roading since 2006. He now lives in Lake Oswego, Oregon with his Labrador, Arlo.
SEAN WILSON
THE ALCHEMIST
Sean is our "inventory alchemist." He has a unique ability to turn excess inventory into profit, and his expertise in supply chain management has helped us streamline our operations. When he isnāt managing inventory in the warehouse, he can be found relaxing by the pool and eating some good olā fashion BBQ. Sean's relaxed attitude makes him a great team player, and he always brings positive energy to the workplace.
