The Ineos Grenadier is the most exciting off-road vehicle to hit the world stage since Land Rover released the original 110 in 1983. Leitner Designs is thrilled to have one of the first vehicles in the United States, and even more excited to develop a curated line of accessories that specifically speaks to the spirit of off-road explorers in their time-honored tradition. Please browse our Grenadier Collection that is built to the most exacting standards for the road ahead.

Leitner Designs Active Cargo System (ACS) ROOF is unique in the segment because of its infinitely adjustable load bars. Unlike traditional platform racks, the structural rigidity of Leitner Designs ROOF comes from its exterior frame, not the longitudinal load bars. This enables users to add as many or as few load bars as they like โ€” even when ACS ROOF is installed on their vehicle.

With the turn of a few Leitner-branded torx bolts, owners can slide the load bars in a multitude of arrangements, front to rear, thanks to the patented mounting system. ACS ROOF has toothed channels that run the exterior of the rack rather than bolts that run through the exterior frame in a fixed position. The load bars clamp to these toothed channels, creating an adjustable but incredibly secure mounting solution.

In addition to being fully adjustable along the length of the rack, ACS ROOF load bars are twice as wide and twice as strong as the competition; each ACS ROOF load bar is 4.0 inches wide and 1.2 inches tall and features two T-slots (most platform racks feature just one t-slot). The load bars are formed from 1.5mm to 3.0mm multi-wall thickness aluminum โ€” more than twice as thick as other platform racks on the market.

Securely mounting and wiring rooftop accessories, like auxiliary lighting, is easier and cleaner than ever with ACS ROOF. Unlike traditional platform racks, which force users to attach wiring to the rack externally, ACS ROOFโ€™s corner caps can be removed while the rack is installed. The corner caps feature passthrough holes that allow users to run wiring along the inside of the exterior extrusion rails. Running wiring inside the extrusion protects the wiring and eliminates the need for unsightly zip ties.

Leitner also created a version of the platform rack compatible with the brandโ€™s ACS Forged bed racks, called ACS Platform. Itโ€™s compatible with all of Leitner Designsโ€™ ACS Forged bed racks and replaces the standard top rails. ACS Platform both lowers the overall height of the ACS Forged (compared to running an auxiliary rack atop the load bars) and increases overall structural rigidity โ€” something racks from other manufacturers canโ€™t.

GearPOD ROOF takes Leitnerโ€™s patented GearPOD storage-box design and moves it to the roof โ€” any roof. GearPOD ROOF is designed to work seamlessly with the all-new ACS ROOF rack, but it can be easily attached to virtually any modern platform rack. This makes it an excellent entrรฉe into the Leitner Designs ecosystem.

Traditional rooftop storage boxes open from the top. The GearPOD ROOF opens from the side. This first-ever design feature not only improves accessibility but also creates additional storage space โ€” the top of the box. The GearPOD ROOF can hold up to 100 pounds of gear on its top. This makes it perfect for mounting off-road necessities like MAXTRAX and RotopaX. In fact, the top of GearPOD ROOF is pre-marked for MAXTRAX and RotopaX mounting hardware attachment locations. Owners simply drill the top of the GearPOD ROOF in the marked locations and install MAXTRAX or RotopaX mounting hardware. A water-tight seal is created between the nut, bolt, and GearPOD ROOF material.

Thanks to the Leitnerโ€™s Lid Lifter struts, the GearPOD ROOF door opens to 115 degrees. This means that the door wonโ€™t interfere with gear mounted on top of the box or the accessibility of the gear inside.

"The ACS ROOF universal mounting plate allows the GearPOD ROOF to be easily mounted to most racks on the market"

Unlike rooftop boxes that require cumbersome ancillary exterior-mounted straps, brackets, and padlocks, GearPOD ROOF mounts to virtually any platform rack with Leitner Designsโ€™ specially designed internally mounted lock mechanisms. These locks are protected inside the box from the elements (dust, snow, ice, etc.) as well as thieves.

The GearPOD ROOFโ€™s door latches also feature locks for additional security. The key that locks the exterior door is the same that unlocks the GearPOD ROOF from the rack, so thereโ€™s no need to carry a jumble of additional keys. Whatโ€™s more, this means the GearPOD ROOF can be unlocked, unlatched, and removed from a rack in less than 30 seconds.

Leitner Designs also created twin accessory storage bags that nest side by side neatly inside the GearPOD ROOF. Measuring 7.4โ€ tall, 13โ€ deep, 20.5โ€ wide, these storage bags make storing and retrieving gear even cleaner and more secure. The two top-opening bags, which will be available after initial GearPOD ROOF launch, are made from EVA foam and feature carrying handles as well as provision for velcro identifier patches.

GearPOD ROOF is priced at $699. ACS Platform is $850. And ACS ROOF is $1,300.
